The Little Book That Beats the Market
A fine book, and that is the problem.

Every shelf like this should have a no on it, because a list that only says yes is an advertisement.
This is my no and it is not because the book is bad. It is good, it is short, and the magic formula in it is a sensible way to sort companies by cheapness and returns on capital. The problem is that everybody has already read it, and the whole reason this shelf exists is the ones you have not. Whatever edge it contained got arbitraged out by the people who read it, and you are not going to find a mispriced asset running a screen three hundred thousand other people run on the same Tuesday.
Read You Can Be a Stock Market Genius instead. Worst title in finance, one of the best books in it, sold a fraction as many copies, and it is about spinoffs and restructurings and strange securities.
The newsletter. That is the whole ask.
